Join us for an unforgettable theatre-style evening with Arsenal legend Paul Merson, live from the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham. Paul will be reflecting on his exceptional playing career, including his memorable years at Arsenal, his time with Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Walsall and other clubs, as well as his distinguished appearances for the England national team.
The event will be held in the hotel’s main suite, conveniently located on the ground floor, just past Reception.
Ticket Information
Platinum Tickets
Platinum guests will enjoy an exclusive pre-sho photo with Paul Merson, including a professional printed photograph. Guests will queue along with other platinum ticket holders and have their photograph taken individually with Paul. Each photo will be printed immediately on high-quality 6x9 inch paper.
Platinum guests may also bring one personal item to be signed by Paul.
Gold Tickets
Gold ticket holders are entitled to a professional photograph with Paul Merson but do not receive an autograph opportunity.
Event Schedule
6:00pm – Doors open. The full bar will be available, and guests may arrive early to purchase drinks and find their seats.
Platinum guests are advised to check in between 6:00pm and 6:30pm.
6:30pm – Photo session begins (approx. 1 hour, concluding around 7:30pm)
7pm - Last check in for Silver Tickets start
7:45pm – Introduction by Jed Stone
8:00pm – Paul Merson live on stage (Part One)
8:45pm – Interval and auction (12 items)
9:30pm – Paul Merson Q&A (Part Two)
10:30pm – Prize draw
10:45pm – Last orders and event close
11:00pm – Suggested carriages
Additional Information
Queues
Please expect queues during check-in and the photo session. We have 450 guests attending, with approximately 180 scheduled for photographs.
Seating
There are approximately 11 rows of seats across 4 blocks, totalling around 110 seats per block.
Platinum ticket holders are guaranteed seating within the first five rows.
Gold and Silver ticket holders will be seated within the remaining blocks.
All guests will be allocated a seat number on arrival, and you must sit in your assigned seat.
Dress Code
Smart casual is required.
Please do not wear hoodies, hats, sandals, shorts, or similar attire. Guests who are under-dressed may be refused entry. No refunds will be given in such cases.
Age Restrictions
The event is open to ages 14+.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Meet & Greet
This means you will queue then meet Paul Merson for a photo where you can shake his hand. If you have a platinum ticket you will also be able to get one item signed by Paul in the photo area. This is strictly one item so please don’t try to get multiple items through.
Timings
All timings are approximate and may vary depending on the guest speaker’s arrival or if the photo session overruns.
Food
Food will not be available at the event. Please ensure you eat beforehand.
Security
Any guest who behaves abusively towards staff or acts in an inappropriate, threatening, or violent manner will be removed from the premises and may be reported to the police.
Photo Session Guidance
After your photograph is printed, please check it immediately to ensure you are happy with it. If there is an issue (e.g., eyes closed), notify the photography team straight away so they can retake it.
Once the photo session has finished, we are unable to offer retakes.
