Pearce is a Nottingham Forest icon, having spent 12 years of his career at the City Ground, with a huge 522 appearance and 88 goals for Forest. Regularly the teams captain, Pearce was a natural leader of men and earned the nickname Psycho for his tough and passionate style of play, the nickname started at Forest and made its way to England where Pearce earned 78 caps for his country.
Arguably Pearce's finest moment was his Euro 96 penalty against in the quarter finals against Spain, ending his emotional baggage of having missed 6 years earlier at Italia 90 and showing the world just why Stuart Pearce is a legend to everyone in England (and defiantly in Nottingham)
