''A Newcastle fan here and I wouldn't have swapped Keagan for any other manager in the world. We didn't win anything but he loved Newcastle football club and nothing could beat the atmosphere at St James's during the Keagan years. His grandfather, father and uncle were all from the North East's mining industry and I think he genuinely thought a lot for the people up here. I remember taking my kids to watch the team train at Maiden Castle and Keagan would stop back and talk to the kids and sign autographs, long after the training had finished. I also remember a story from someone who wrote a letter to Kevin asking if he could donate some NUFC memorabilia for a charity fund raising afternoon in a local village. Kevin turned at the event unannounced and spent a few hours there. He didn’t ask for anything or want any thanks, he just wanted to give something back''. @lochinver1929
